Above left is Ollie my current subject for several paintings and right, and just below is Ralphie  with insane blue eyes, who tragically passed at the age of 6 and he was very special to me. See the lineup of kitties at my patio door that we cared for. Feeding time. Muffy the black cat  lived to about 23 on my deck outside as was her preference.  I did build them a heated winter condo every year. Of course, you all know who I was dressed up to look like  for every Halloween.

A Bit About Me

Education & Honors

Art has been my heartbeat for as long as I can remember, starting with the simple joy of a childhood sketchbook. That early passion led me to formal training, in colllege where I spent years working in all mediums. After a long, and occasional rewarding career in publishing, I’ve finally come home to my easel and oil painting. Being back in the studio feels like a long-awaited conversation with an old friend, and I’m so excited to share this colorful new chapter with you.

  • Scholarship to Cooper Union College
  • Graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts
  • Created Award winning publications and magazines
  • Life long comic and horror fan

Growing up in the Far Rock Away Projects (Queens), there was a community center that had a wonderful  art class.  My mom proudly enrolled me and below are some of my very first paintings. I always  loved painting cats . Enjoy!

I thougt it would be fun to  share  a few of my earliest works as a 9 to 11 year old kid
